Recitation of the Holy Rosary takes place Monday through Saturday at 7:00 AM before Mass, and every Friday at 6:00 PM before Spanish Mass. The men of our Parish gather every Wednesday at 7:00 PM to recite the Rosary.
Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help is recited every Wednesday starting at 6:45 AM. It concludes before Mass with benediction.
We have adoration of the Blessed Sacrament and Benediction every Wednesday at 6:45 AM during novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help. In Spanish, Holy Hour takes place every 1st Friday of the Month, starting at 5:30 PM and concluding with Benediction before Mass at 6:30 PM.
Every First Friday of the Month, the Blessed Sacrament is exposed after Spanish Mass at 7:15 PM. Adoration continues throughout the night, it concludes with benediction on Saturday at 5:00 AM, followed by Mass.
From December 3rd to the 11th, at 7:00 PM, the Spanish speaking community of Holy Cross celebrates a novena in honor of Our Lady of Guadalupe. We gather every night to pray, reflect and celebrate our Blessed Mother who appeared to Juan Diego on the hill of Tepeyac in Mexico. On December 12, festivities in honor of "La Morenita" take place in our Parish Church with much devotion and love for our Heavenly Mother.
From December 15th to the 23rd, the Filipino Community of Holy Cross celebrates the Christmas novena in preparation for the birth of Jesus. Every night we gather to Celebrate the Eucharist where guest priests share with us their inspiring and profound reflections. After Mass, everyone is welcome to join in for dinner in the Parish Hall and spend a moment of fraternal sharing and joyful convivence.
Preparing for Christmas with the celebration of "Posadas" is a way to spread the cheer of the season at Holy Cross. The Spanish speaking community gather every night from December 15th through the 23rd at 7:00 PM and go around the neighborhood singing Christmas songs and seeking a space to shelter Mary and Joseph. After the outing, we gather at the Parish grounds to share seasonal dishes and break the pinatas.
This weekly devotion of the Fridays of Lent gathers the faithful in Chruch at 7:15 PM. We pray the Stations of the Cross and reflect on the Lord's sacrifice for us. Confessions are offered during this time as a way of preparing our hearts for the Paschal Mystery.
The Italian Community of Holy Cross organizes this yearly devotion on the closest Sunday to the Feast of St. Joseph, the husband of Mary (March 19th). A beautiful display in honor of St. Joseph is arranged in the Church Hall where the faithful gather to share the typical dishes of this significant celebration.
