A Parish Family, served by the Missionaries of St. Charles / Scalabrinians
As part of our ongoing formation in faith, Bible reflection provides a space for those who wish to deepen in their knowledge of Christ and the Holy Scriptures. You are welcome to join us during our seasonal courses. You can consult the bulletin for information about times and dates for the group gatherings
Filipinos in America of Holy Cross is a faith-based group that promotes religious, social and cultural activities in our Parish Community. FilAm members are very committed to the spiritual and financial wellbeing of our church. They promote several religious and social activities throughout the year and ensure their participation and love for the Parish Family is promoted among the Filipino community in San Jose.
Once a week, men from our parish gather to pray the Rosary and present our Blessed Mother with their needs and personal requests. This moment of prayer and reflection offers them the possibility to share in a fraternal atmosphere a moment of Faith that in turn blesses their families, their work-lives and their entire existence in incredible ways. Join us every Wednesday at 7:00 PM
The Neocatechumenal Way is an itinerary of rediscovery of baptism and ongoing formation in the faith, and it is proposed to the faithful who wish to rekindle in their lives the richness of the Christian initiation. The Way – whose itinerary is lived in the parishes, in small communities made up of people from different age and social groups – gradually leads the faithful to intimacy with Jesus Christ and transforms them into active members in the Church and credible witnesses of the Good News. For more information, please call our Parish Office and request the contact information of the Responsible for the way at Holy Cross.
Every 1st Friday of the Month, we spend the night in adoration of the Most Blessed Sacrament. The vigil takes place by turns in a very organized and structured manner. The world sleeps and the adorers spend the night in intercession for the Church and the needs of humanity. If you wish to participate in this moment of Adoration and Prayer, call our office and request the contact information of the president of the group.
